The imaging area of the 16.1 MP APS-C Exmor™ CMOS Sensor is a lot larger than conventional camcorder sensors. This results in superior image quality as well as creative depth of field potential. You'll also get precise selective focus with beautifully defocused backgrounds plus the sensitivity needed to shoot clear images in low light.
