The Saramonic UwMic9 RX9+HU9 is a portable, dual-channel, camera-mountable UHF handheld wireless microphone system that has powerful features which greatly exceed the capabilities of competing systems that cost over twice as much. The included dual-channel RX9 receiver gives you the ability to run two separate wireless microphones by adding an additional transmitter, such as a second HU9 handheld microphone (sold separately). The UwMic9 is remarkably easy to use and it works right out of the box. You turn on the power and go. It utilizes the UHF (Ultra High Frequency) spectrum, which helps you avoid interference, and its 514-596 MHz range is not impacted by the FCC’s ban of the 600 MHz frequencies. An automatic-scan feature locates the best available channel for you and the infrared synchronization makes the process a snap. There are 2 banks of 96 channels available, which enables you to run multiple sets of UwMic9 systems at the same time without issues. Easy-to-read backlit LCD displays on the transmitter and the receiver let you make quick adjustments to the intuitive menus in the brightest or darkest environments. The RX9 receiver also includes a headphone output, enabling real-time audio monitoring which is vital if your camera lacks a headphone output.

Power, Range, Flexibility and Function
Offering features and capabilities that are unheard of for a wireless system in this price range. The system has an impressive operating range of up to 330-feet (100m), giving users the range, and power they need for professional applications. The HU9 transmitter features durable metal construction with integrated antenna in the body of the mic for a clean appearance. The exterior of the HU9 has only one button which makes operating it extremely easy. The combo mute/power button can be locked with a switch hidden inside the body to prevent the person holding the mic from accidentally muting, changing the channel or turning it off. An easy-to-read backlit LCD display clearly shows the remaining battery life, mute status, and the group and its operating channel. A protective ring around the perimeter of the grill prevents the HU9 from rolling when resting on flat surfaces. The HU9 also feature a High/Low RX transmission power output setting, allowing users to conserve batteries in controlled recording environments. And the RX9 receiver has a power-locking feature to prevent it from accidentally being turned off when in use.

Versatility for any camera, or any set-up
Locking 3.5mm mini-plug and XLR output cables are both included so you can use the UwMic9 system with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, cinema cameras, camcorders, professional video cameras, action cameras, audio recorders, mixers and much more. If your recording device has either a 3.5mm or XLR microphone input, you are ready to go out of the box. And the system can be easily adapted to be used with smartphones, tablets, computers, and even more with one of Saramonic’s inexpensive and innovative audio adapters and cables.

Expandable and Backwards Compatible
Another great benefit is that the UwMic9 system is expandable and backwards compatible. Optional transmitters and output cables (sold separately) are available, giving you unrivaled flexibility. Additional transmitters make it possible to add another HU9 Handheld transmitter, a TX9 belt pack transmitter with lavalier, or the TX-XLR9 wireless Plug-On XLR transmitter allows you to use any XLR microphone wirelessly, condenser or dynamic. Saramonic also has an expansive series of adapters and cables to connect the included RX9 receiver to smartphones, tablets, computers, and so much more. And if you have an older UwMic9 component, transmitter or system with the yellow trim, no need to worry, the UwMic9 series is complete backwards compatible. Allowing you to seamlessly add a UwMic9 system to your existing older UwMic9 system, transmitter or components.
