This compact, high-speed medium-telephoto lens offers a 49mm image circle, making it compatible with sensors larger than full-frame, expanding its potential for use with medium format systems. With the same optical design as the Simera-C 75mm cinema lens, it is equipped with 16 aperture blades, ensuring a perfectly round aperture shape at all aperture settings from f/1.4 to f/16, creating a distinctive cinematic image style.

The Simera 75mm features an optical design incorporating 1 aspherical lens, 2 high refractive index (HRI) lenses, and 2 extra-low dispersion (ED) lenses.

This advanced formula effectively controls chromatic aberration and flare, ensuring exceptional sharpness and clarity from the center to the edges, with natural color reproduction and vivid detail resolution. Featuring the same optical design as the Simera-C 75mm T1.5 cinema lens, it offers natural, soft focus roll-off at wide apertures. This creates a visually compelling narrative, with a shallow depth of field and exquisite out-of-focus rendering that enhances the subject and effortlessly creates a 3D pop effect. The nuanced interplay of light and shadow gives everyday images a cinematic depth and visual appeal.

Classic Design with Modern Ergonomics

The lens design continues the Simera series' retro aesthetic, inspired by the 1950s Visifocus scale, adding a vibrant touch to the all-metal body and creating a distinctive visual identity for the Simera lineup.

The aperture ring is marked with "sun" and "moon" symbols, allowing for switching between clicked and declicked aperture settings, offering seamless transitions between stills and video shooting.

The focus ring features subtle resistance at 0.7m, remind users to shift from rangefinder to EVF focusing.
