The Blimp Extension is an add-on component kit for the original RØDE Blimp windshield system that allows the use of long shotgun microphones, including the RØDE NTG8 and any shotgun with barrel length of up to 600mm. The kit includes a 256mm blimp extension piece, two sets of rigid silicone bands, extra long DeadWombat fur windshield and furry brush. Please note that the original RØDE Blimp is required to use this product. It is not currently compatible with the 2014 RØDE Blimp.
